Silver Linings Retreats (“we”, “our” or “us”) owns and operates the website https://www.silverliningsretreats.com at which it offers the “Services” described. We respect your right to privacy. The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is to describe and disclose to you what kind of information we may collect from you and how we may use or disclose that information in connection with the Services.

As explained below, we collect information from you and other visitors and users (collectively, “you”, “your”, or “users”) of our website in various ways when you interact with our website (collectively, the “Site”), including, for example, registering for the Services, visiting or browsing through the Site for other purposes, or participating in or using any Service. By using our Site and/or Services and providing any information to us through the same, you consent to our collection and use of information as explained in this Privacy Policy.

We also collect information from you when you interact with the Site in other ways, including but not limited to, registering for the Services. For example, when you register for Services on the Site you will be voluntarily providing to us, through our vendor Teachable your first and last name, email address and postal or physical address, which is information that enables us to identify you personally (“Personally Identifiable Information”).

Please note that any Personally Identifiable Information or content that you voluntarily disclose in any potentially public areas of our Site becomes publicly available and can be viewed, collected, and/or used by other users of our Site. You should therefore exercise caution before disclosing your Personally Identifiable Information via these public venues.

If you purchase a Service or a subscription to a Service (each such transaction, a “Purchase”), you must provide valid payment card information. This information is collected directly by our payment vendors and is not received or stored by Silver Linings Retreats.

We will use the information we obtain about you in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. We will use information you provide to us, including Non-Personally Identifiable Information or Personally Identifiable Information, in connection with receiving email notifications from us. We may also use your information, including Non-Personally Identifiable Information or Personally Identifiable Information, to better serve you and enhance your experience with the Site, among other things. This may include having to modify or copy such Non-Personally Identifiable Information or Personally Identifiable Information, or other information such as images or textual content you provide, in order to provide you with a seamless and enjoyable user experience on our Site or Services. Toward these ends, you consent to our use and disclosure of any such information submitted to us via the Site or Services, or information collected when you access the Site or Services in any manner.

Amending Your Information / Opt-Out Policy

Newsletters & Emails

We may send you newsletters and other emails about new or upcoming services or offers. If you decide you no longer wish to receive these emails, please email [email protected]

We are not responsible for removing, deleting, amending, retrieving, or modifying your Personally Identifiable Information from the lists of any Third Party Services or other third party who has previously been provided your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy Policy

The Site is not intended for use by children, especially those under sixteen (16) years of age. No one under sixteen (16) years of age is allowed to use the Site or Services, provide any personal information or receive our email distributions. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personally Identifiable Information from children under the age of thirteen (13) or anyone under sixteen (16) years of age. If you believe that a minor has disclosed Personally Identifiable Information to us, please report this to us immediately by emailing us at: [email protected]

Teachable Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the School collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School.


Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.

How we use collected information

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
  • Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize user experience
  • We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.

  • We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.

Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
